Most Rev. Robert J. Carlson- Archbishop of St Louis

Archbishop Carlson stopped by the seminary today to meet everyone. I happen to be a part of this great moment and wanted to share it with everyone. Here is a picture of the Archbishop shaking hands with each of us.

Acolyte Installation

I am alive! You were probably beginning to wonder what happended to me. It has been a long time since I found time to post to my blog, but I realized this morning that I need to get back into the habit of posting updates.

Yesterday, I was installed as an Acolyte with my calssmates. It was truly a blessed day and I thank God for the continued blessings he bestows on me daily. Here is a picture of me with Most Reverend Michael Jackels, bishop of Wichita, who was the principal celebrant at the liturgy. Blessings and peace to you!

Lunar Eclipse

I was out last night taking some pictures of the Lunar Eclipse with my Sonay camera. We were forunate to have a completely clear sky for this magnificent view. Other than the extremely cold weahter, I was grateful for the opportunity to see God's work with my own eyes. This was the first time I had ever taken any pictures at night. I learned how to set my camera for such moonlight settings. It wasn't until after the eclipse that I finally figured it out. So, you will see here below a picture of Lunar Eclispe taken about 9pm last night. I must have moved the camera while the picture was being taken, because I really do not believe that we have two moons in our solar system.

The next set of pictures I took after the eclpise had happened. Probably around 10:30pm or so.

Having such a great tower here at Kenrick I had to get a picture with both the Lunar Ecplise and our lighted tower. I think I like this picture the most. If you look closely at the moon you sill see the eclipse.

I hope that you too enjoyed the eclipse. I am grateful for the opportunity to see such a wonderful sight.

First Entry

I have successfully set up my new blog. I have spent just about 10 hours trying to configure this blog. I finally had to break down and ask my host server how to set it up and in about 5 minutes I was on line. I guess it took 10 hours for me to listen to God on this one and I am grateful that I did. All praise and glory to God most high!
