My definition of Epistemology
Epistemology is the study of knowledge and how we come to know what we believe we know. This study of knowledge, is a science, that looks at the way we obtain our information and based on that information how we obtain our conclusion.

Epistemology is a field of science that focuses on knowledge. Epistemology is a science because it is a constant test for certainty in what one claims as knowledge through reason. One must continually test his claim of certainty and his sources. In a sentence, Epistemology is a science of knowledge and certainty of knowledge claims. (1)
